Compared to paraffin, our organic coconut wax burns cleaner, and it also burns slower than paraffin making our candles last longer.

Yes, Berryline Candles are safe for use around pets and children when burned responsibly. We use non-toxic materials, including coconut wax and lead-free cotton wicks. However, we recommend keeping candles out of reach of children and pets and never leaving a burning candle unattended.

As long as you keep the wick trimmed and only burn them for 3-4 hours at a time, our:

7.2 oz candles last approximately 60 hours

3.9 oz candles last approximately 40 hours

To get the most out of your Berryline Candle:

1. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before every burn to prevent soot and ensure an even flame.

2. Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar during the first burn to avoid tunneling.

3. Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time to maintain wick stability.

4. Keep your candle away from drafts and fans, as they can cause uneven burning.

These are common instructions and good practices for any candle to be safe and are meant to prolong a candle’s burn time.

A longer wick creates a larger flame which melts the wax faster.

Yes, all Berryline Candles are made with 100% lead and zinc-free cotton wicks, ensuring a safe and clean burn for your home.

Berryline Candles are flexible and may form a tunnel if burned for less than the recommended time. While the next burn of around 4 hours might not fully reach the edges, continued proper burns will eventually melt the wax and use it all, depending on the severity of the tunnelling. No tricks are needed—just consistency!

If the wick is too short:

1. Carefully remove some of the hardened wax around the wick with a spoon or knife to expose more wick.

2. Light the candle and let it burn long enough to establish a full melt pool.

3. Be sure to trim the wick appropriately for the next use to avoid the wick sinking too low again.
