Why should I trim the wick and only burn the candle for 4 hours at a time?

These are common instructions and good practices for any candle to be safe and are meant to prolong a candle’s burn time. A longer wick creates a larger flame which melts the wax faster.
What makes an organic coconut wax candle different?

Coconut wax is a renewable resource, while paraffin wax is refined from crude oil. Compared to paraffin, our organic coconut wax burns cleaner, and it also burns slower than paraffin making our candles last longer. Berryline Candles uses coconut wax which meets FDA requirements, cotton wicks interwoven with paper threads, and natural fragrance oils. Completely safe for you and your pets!
How long do your candles last?

As long as you keep the wick trimmed and only burn them for 3-4 hours at a time, our: 7.2 oz candles last approximately 60 hours 3.9 oz candles last approximately 40 hours
Where are your candles made?

All of our candles are handcrfted and handpackaged in our workshop in Lakeshore, Ontario.
