The story of Berryline Candles began on a summer day when founder, Filip and his brother Anton strolled through a local open-air farmer's market, surrounded by a lush landscape of trees and flowers. Inspired by nature's vibrant colours and tantalizing aromas, they envisioned capturing these sensory delights in beautifully crafted candles.
The European Influence
Growing up in Europe, Filip had always been captivated by the flickering glow of candles and how they could transform a room into a haven of warmth and comfort. Filip attempted to create a cozy atmosphere for their hardworking parents as young child by lighting candles throughout the house. Although this well-intentioned gesture nearly resulted in a fiery disaster, it sparked a lifelong passion for candles and an unwavering dedication to safety and quality.
A Family's Struggle and Determination
This passion for candles was further fueled by a deeply personal experience: Filip's and Anton's mother bravely battled cancer, and during that time, the family faced financial challenges. Determined to make a difference, they started the candle business to help support their family and give back to the community by donating some profits to cancer-related organizations.
